About Bradley University
Bradley University is a private, independent university offering undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs in the liberal and fine arts, the sciences, business administration, communications, education, engineering, and the health sciences. School & College at Bradley University: Bradley students are encouraged to excel in their work and in their lives. Students may complete a significant research project during their junior and senior years – a project requiring both individual initiative and independent thinking. But Bradley University's students also know that if they work as a team, they can create something greater than the sum of their individual efforts.
School of Nursing: Bradley University’s Department of Nursing offers an undergraduate program, an accelerated program, and a graduate program of study.The Graduate Program is designed for professional nurses to explore advanced nursing practice opportunities. Completion of the graduate program of study leads to a master of science in nursing with a specialty in nursing administration, nursing education or an MSN-General. Traditional programs of study are available as well as innovative opportunities that include BSN-MSN experiences and RN-MSN experiences.
School of Engineering:The ultimate goal of the College of Engineering and Technology is to educate and graduate fully integrated individuals who possess the technical and social competence and confidence to succeed in professional practice and advanced education, to be lifelong learners, and to exercise responsible citizenship.The focus of the College of Engineering and Technology at Bradley University is undergraduate engineering education. The fact that the college has 800 undergraduate students in a university of 5000 undergraduates in five colleges allows us to provide an educational experience that contains many interdisciplinary aspects through collaborations with the other colleges. The campus has an atmosphere of open inquiry and exploration. This enhances the sound technical foundation that our engineering and technology students receive.
school of Business:The Foster College of Business Administration is the college of choice for approximately 1,000 exceptional undergraduate students and 250 graduate students. The 53 full-time faculty in the college are absolutely committed to teaching and learning. With 95 percent of the faculty holding a Ph.D. or the highest degree in their field, we offer students exceptional teaching, small class sizes, personal attention, and an abundance of opportunities to gain practical experience.Only 170 institutions in the world have Bradley University 's combination of business and accounting accreditations. Bradley is the only private downstate Illinois university that has AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Business and Accounting Program Accreditations.
