School of Business, Economics and Informatics : Welcome to the School of Business, Economics and Informatics at Birkbeck, University of London. This new School brings together leading research and teaching in its four constituent departments: Computer Science and Information Systems; Economics, Mathematics and Statistics; Management and Organizational Psychology. Some of our departments have heritages that place them among the longest standing in their fields in the UK.
Our new structure allows us to develop multi-disciplinary research and teaching programmes that address the needs of society in an increasingly integrated world.
Birkbeck has an outstanding reputation for research-led, innovative teaching, delivered in a flexible way that caters for working and full-time students. We have an international staff and student body, reflected in our research and teaching. The School offers a portfolio of more than 80 courses at all levels from certificate to doctoral.
