Business School :
The University of Aberdeen Business School is an international leading provider of excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate education. We lie at the heart of an ancient Scottish research University and are located on the beautiful North-East coast of Scotland in the vibrant city of Aberdeen, one of the world’s leading centres in business and energy.

Our international faculty consist of over 40 research active members with world leading academic credentials and strong professional links with the business community. We have highly cited authors and editors of leading international journals and strong intellectual research centres.

The School of Engineering at Aberdeen : It's a great pleasure to welcome you to the School whether you are just browsing or seeking specific information on our people, programmes or research activities. Although we are relatively small by many standards, we are vibrant and well founded and are a genuine general engineering unit, unique in Scotland. With around 600 undergraduate and 75 postgraduate students, we provide a friendly and supportive atmosphere for study, scholarship and research.

About the School of Medical Sciences : The School of Medical Sciences was formed in Autumn 2003 by merging the former Departments of Biomedical Sciences, Molecular & Cell Biology and Biomedical Physics & Bioengineering.

The School has wide ranging research interests and therefore offers undergraduate and postgraduate training across many basic and applied biomedical disciplines. There are particular research strengths in Microbiology and in Physiology, both areas that were rated of international excellence (5) in the 2001 Research Assessment Exercise.

The School of Medicine and Dentistry : alongside the School of Medical Sciences offers undergraduate medicine, a BSc programme in Health Science (the only one of its type in Scotland), and a wide range of postgraduate taught courses and research opportunities across the spectrum of medicine and medical science.

The University of Aberdeen had the first chair of medicine in the English-speaking world. This tradition of innovation in medicine and medical science has been maintained.
