School & Colleges At Quinnipiac University : Quinnipiac University’s undergraduate and graduate programs are offered through the College of Arts and Sciences and the schools of business, communications, health sciences, education and law.No matter which school you enter, you’ll get a core education in liberal arts, study under expert faculty and gain real-world experience in your field.

School of Medicine At Quinnipiac University  :In January 2010, Quinnipiac University began the complex process of opening a medical school, with an emphasis on primary care and global health.The process is expected to take several years to complete and includes discussions with possible hospital/health system clinical partners and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), the accrediting body for U.S. medical schools. Quinnipiac plans to enroll its first medical school class by Fall 2013 or 2014.In September 2010, Quinnipiac named Dr. Bruce Koeppen the founding dean of the school. Prior to his appointment at Quinnipiac, Koeppen was the dean for academic affairs at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.In December 2010, Quinnipiac's School of Medicine satisfied the LCME requirements and is now considered an "applicant school." Schools receive applicant status when they have been determined to meet the basic eligibility requirements to apply for accreditation.

School of Health Science At Quinnipiac University:The belief that access to good health care is an individual’s right is prominent in our society. Underscoring this belief are the needs to make adequate health services and health personnel available and to develop an environment that is conducive to good general health and long life.The School of Health Sciences is committed to developing professionals through comprehensive career-oriented programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. To this end, it has developed a series of aims upon which it conceives, plans, develops and evaluates its educational programs. Quinnipiac University is affiliated with outstanding health and scientific institutions, and private industry in Connecticut, the Northeast and the nation. These sites provide field and clinical experiences that allow students to apply classroom knowledge to real situations. To be eligible for the clinical experience required for graduation and certification, students must maintain a level of academic excellence acceptable to both the academic program director and the clinical director.
