School & College At Concordia University-Irvine:

School of Nursing: Concordia University Irvine has announced a new Second Degree Accelerated BSN Program. This new program is designed for those individuals who already have a Baccalaureate degree and desire to change their professional career. As a BSN student at Concordia University-Irvine, the candidate will be able to learn how to provide excellent, compassionate, and competent nursing care to individuals across the life span.Our unique curriculum has been designed for students to learn the necessary knowledge and advanced skills to provide excellence in caring, compassionate, and competent nursing care.The program includes 90 hours of clinical experience in a public health setting to prepare candidates to apply for the California Public Health Certificate. Additional clinical practica will include patient care in the areas of medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, maternal-child nursing and psychiatric nursing.
