Hirco Group -
The Hirco Group is an international group of private and public entities active in the areas of real estate, construction, infrastructure, hospitality and healthcare. The Group currently has significant projects within its portfolio where it plays multiple roles as developer, financier and builder. They consist primarily of large mixed use townships at various locations in India and at various stages. These projects are in joint venture with Hiranandani, India\'s premier residential developer. Hirco Plc (HRCO), one of the group companies is listed on the Alternate Investment market of the London Stock Exchange. At the time of listing Hirco Plc was the largest ever real estate IPO on the AIM. Hirco Developments, the Group\'s construction and project management arm is known for executing large complex projects involving buildings as well as infrastructure.
Geographically the Group has a presence in India, Middle East, USA, UK and S. E. Asia. The Hirco Group is an industry partner to the World Economic Forum. Its work has been recognized publically through awards. Most recently it won the \'Agent of change\' award from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the \'Best Integrated Suburban Developer\' award from CNBC.
HIRCO Palace Gardens Projects
Hirco currently is developing two master planned townships - both called Palace Gardens - in suburban areas near Chennai in southeast India and in Panvel, in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Combined, the two developments total 66.4 million square feet of buildable area of residential, commercial, retail and social space. The Chennai township is set on 369 acres, while the Panvel township is set on 583 acres. These new, thriving townships will be complete, self-contained and well-connected communities, and home to thousands of residents and hundreds of global businesses.
Because of the sheer scale of its projects Hirco is particularly strong in contracting and procurement. It sources raw material globally and negotiates competitive rates due to its volume purchases. A key component of Hirco\'s capabilities is its ability to source and manage tradesmen and labor necessary for construction and infrastructure. Right from the planning stage Hirco is able to build in eco-friendly features such as sewage recycling and re-use of waste water in gardens and toilet flushing. Hirco\'s construction practices adopt LEED principles and the Group has experience of building offices that have earned LEED platinum rating.

We locate our township developments on large, undeveloped parcels of land in well-connected suburbs near major Indian cities, providing residents and commercial tenants all the advantages these cities offer.
- INFRASTRUCTURE
The scale of our undeveloped township sites enables us to develop local infrastructure and services from scratch with a single, unified vision and to the highest world-class standards. We build the whole infrastructure from the ground up - roads, electrical power, telecommunications backbone, water and sanitation. By doing so, we reduce our townships\' dependence on the public infrastructure and make them to a great degree self-sustaining - a key differentiator in a country where the public infrastructure is under considerable pressure.
