Vikas has been an entrepreneur and senior executive at multiple technology and networking companies over the past 20 years. During the transition o the ARPAnet to the NSFnet and commercial Internet, Vikas was actively involved in the IETF working groups during the development of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, multicast, etc. He was instrumental in getting the initial Internet connectivity to the countries of India, Sri Lanka, Singapore Taiwan, etc. during the early NSFnet days.
Prior to Zyrion, Vikas held executive positions at Network General (acquired byNetScout), Fidelia Inc (acquired byNetworkGeneral), Verio Internet (acquired by NTT Japan) and JvNCnet (acquired by Verio). He has been nominated on MSPmentor's 250 list for two consecutive years since 2011, a global report that identifies the world's industry leaders in the field of Managed Services and RIMM from amongst a pool of 7,000 candidates worldwide. |
