Pramati was founded in 1998 by Jay and Vijay Pullur in Hyderabad, India. Founded as a web technology company, Pramati cut its teeth in enterprise-class web infrastructure technology. The Pramati Application Server was its flagship product that hit the market along with offerings from BEA Systems, IBM and Oracle. Initially adopted by the rapidly growing financial services industry in India, by 2001 the Pramati app server was installed by each of India's top 10 banks.Building on this early success, Pramati started to invest in a number of critical enterprise technologies, going on to become one of India's leading software product companies. Jay's career in the software industry spans 25 years, mainly in building products for newmarkets.Under Jay's leadership, the company has incubated and spun-off multiple startups, under a unique business model. Prior to foundingPramati,Jay spent10years intechnical leadership and software development roles during the early years of Wipro, an IT services giant (among Top 3) fromIndia. Jay is responsible for the company's vision, strategy, IndiaTeambuilding and culture. Jay holds Masters Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur . Jay is an avid reader ,open-minded traveler , secular thinker and a passionate student of creative design, aesthetics and philosophy.

Vijay co-founded Pramati Technologies, He was responsible for scaling the company from a small startup to a large global delivery team that serves hundreds of customers around the world. He also set up the company's US operations. Within Pramati, Vijay has incubated and spun-off multiple businesses, SocialTwist being one among them. He also runs US operations, Hiring Marketing / Sales executives for group companies andCorporateDevelopment. Vijay is credited with successfully steering the company to areas of social and consumer technologies, while sustaining the core strength in platform technologies. Prior to Pramati, Vijay also spent 8 years in technical leadership and software development roles at Wipro Vijay has a BS in Computer Science. Exceeding customer expectations is his only mantra.
