Alphion® offers a full spectrum of broadband access solutions that support complete end-to-end access networks, enabling multi-play, IP based broadband services such as VoIP, high-speed Internet, IPTV and Video-On-Demand. The GPON product family consists of state-of-the-art Optical Line Terminals (OLT), Optical Network Terminals (ONT) and passive optical splitters. The Alphion GPON solution provides a wide spectrum of broadband services including internet, cable video, IPTV, telephony, security, multiple-play voice, data and video, backhaul of WiMAX, 2G/3G/4G cellular networks as well as services for tele-medicine, tele-education and tele-governance.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BNSL), the largest government telecommunications service provider in India, and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), one of India's other major service providers, selected Alphion's GPON technology to support next generation multiple-play Fiber-to-the-Premise
(FTTP) services across the nation.Additionally,Alphion products are being deployed by Private Telcos, Internet Service Providers, Hospitality Industries, Cable Operators and Universities, totaling over 50 cities in India where the Alphion family of products are in use.

Outside of India, Alphion has deployed products all over the world to various TelecomOperators, ISPs, CableMSOs, Realty, Education and Hospitality sectors. Dr. Dave is a recognized expert in optical network systems development. Prior to founding Alphion Corporation in 2000, he spent 15 years with Bell Labs where he led the design and development of multiple SONET,ATMand optical networking products, where he served as chief architect of Lucent's WaveStar Lambda Router optical cross-connection system. Over the past 13 years, he has grown Alphion Corporation to be amulti-national group of companies and leader in Fiber-to-the-Premises industry. He has received numerous awards and patents for his accomplishments in optical networking and fault tolerant computing. He holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
