Introduction: Chat GPT

Chat GPT reinvented online search in 2023 with its generative AI capabilities. A machine can now converse with a person like a human. Chat GPT is a Large Language Model (LLM) that has been trained using gigabytes of digital data and billions of parameters.

Let me share a secret with you all today. Over the years, I have discovered that our mind is a powerful chat GPT that is waiting to be harnessed. In my world, GPT stands for Gratitude and Positive Thoughts.

Self-Realization: SHASHIN 1.0

Our mind can be considered as one of the strongest muscles in our bodies. It can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Twelve years ago, I was diagnosed with moderate clinical depression and had to take a break from work for six months.

Luckily, I survived! Thanks to my dear wife Shilpa who reminded me of the power of positivity and Gratitude. Thanks to my sister Meenal who helped me to rebuild my confidence. Thanks to my friend Sridhar, who introduced me to meditation via music. The most important moment was to acknowledge that I have a mental health problem and seek medical intervention.

The reason for my depression was not fear of failure or extreme anxiety or toxic negativity. I had not found my Gratitude and Positive Thoughts mantra to befriend my mind and combat all the above.

In those six long months, I realized that it was negativity in the form of data and people that got me into depression. At the same time, it was my inner circle, a positive mindset and a having an attitude of gratitude that helped me to get out of it. I had discovered my mantra to befriend my mind and unlock its chat GPT capabilities. I embarked on my transformational journey of self-inspiration and living a positive mindset life.

Embracing Positivity

Just like the AI Model, my first step was to feed my mind with positive data. I started following inspirational humans and positive thought groups on all my social channels. Thanks to the power of AI and Personalization all my social feeds were flooded with rich positive content and thoughts. This became my source for my Daily Dose of Positivity (DDOP) email.

All our life we have been told to start our day with a healthy break-fast to nourish our body. What about the nourishment of our minds? In early 2015, I started sending a daily dose of positivity email containing few hand-picked positive thoughts to myself and my team so that we could jumpstart day on a positive note.

Eight thousand plus days, ten thousand plus positive thoughts have helped more than 25,000 people to start their day with a positive mindset and 10X globally as pay it forward. Every-day I get feedback, as to how these simple reminders have helped my coworkers to get thru a negative situation or a stressful day.

Your Inner Circle

Just like the AI model, which was trained using billions of parameters, I had to find a way to train my mind. Within no time, the positivity mantra was working, and I had the confidence to face my fears and lean into opportunities. Like a positivity magnet, my inner circle was growing with like-minded people. These inspirational humans inspired me; motivated me; supported me; gave me authentic feedback and become my influencers. These invaluable interactions became the parametersthat helped me train my mind and becoming a better version of myself. We all are responsible for choosing the right people in our inner circle.

Having an Attitude of Gratitude

It has been proven that by practicing gratitude we release our happy hormones. It helps us rewire our brain, resulting in a more positive life. The most important step in my mantra is all about having an attitude of gratitude and began with being grateful for my life and for all the wonderful people in my life.

Thanks to my bestie and its chat GPT capabilities, in the last decade I have been able to unlock my true potential and use multiple channels (blogs, videos, paintings, ping-pong, Mango Kulfi and Music) to express my gratitude and create moments of joy and happiness at work. Serving mymango kulfi and singing with my heart to our cafeteria staff has become a holiday tradition that I look forward to every year.

Chief Happiness Officer (CHO)

Over the years, my coworkers have bestowed me with the title of Chief Happiness Officer (CHO). My purpose and mission in life is to do everything in my control to inculcate a positive and grateful culture in my personal and professional life.

By befriending my mind and harnessing the power of my inner chat GPT, I have consistently emerged victorious against my battles with negative thoughts, fear of failure and anxiety. My bestie has helped me to live a positive mindset life and become an inspiration to thousands of my coworkers.
