Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy: At this academy, players areselected solely on merit and training is imparted free of charge forthe year. This academy was established by three players ofinternational merit: Prakash Padukone, Vimal Kumar and Vivek Kumar.Individual attention is guaranteed with the number of trainees beinglimited and invitations sent to top national players and promisingyoungsters. BPL, the consumer giant, fully sponsors the academy,covering costs of lodging, boarding, shuttles, travel etc. of thetrainees. BPL also funds participation of the trainees in tournamentsabroad.
