Realizing the importance of a very strong foundation in the form of a rigorous and quality oriented training, Karvy launched,in the month of July 1999, an in-house training institute for Medical Transcription training called the CBay Karvy Academy for Medical Transcription, in collaboration with CBay Systems Incorporated, USA.This Academy is unique and one of its kind established with the sole aim of producing quality Medical Transcriptionists.The academy which is located in the Karvy Office in Hyderabad, has so far trained 150 Medical Transcriptionists, all of whom have been placed.The academy houses all the infrastructure required for training 150 students at a time. The technology is state-of-the-art. It has three classrooms and three computer labs with 150 machines, all loaded with 12 different softwares. The team of trainers include experienced and research oriented Doctors, American English Experts and Senior Medical Transcriptionists who have been trained in USA.The training offered at the academy is a full-time one and for a duration of 6 months (5 months of classroom training and 1 month of On-the-job-training (OJT)
