The Adhiparasakthi College of Nursing started functioning in 1993 with the sole objective of rendering paramedical education to the poor and to bring a Nursing Education to the doorsteps of the rural and common people. It is targeted towards the cause of women's liberation. Thus, this institute has been started to serve the rural women folk as well as to meet the health needs and nursing scarcity of the community.
From 1993, 4 batches of B.Sc. (N) students have completed the degree successfully and left the college. This year, the 5th batch students are going to complete their degree. At present, there are 40 students in 1st year, 39 in 3rd Semester, 34 in 5th, 2 in 6th, 38 in 7th and 4 in 8th Semester. In total 157 students are studying in the college.
