VCCircle is happy to announce the 2nd edition of its Ahmedabad Investment Forum, after our successful 1st edition held in 2009. The forum is aimed at creating an exclusive rendezvous for Gujarat’s large and mid-sized company CEOs and private equity investors scouting for attractive sopportunities in this emerging market.
Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat, also rated as the 3 fastest growing city in the world by Forbes, houses some of the best Indian companies across industries. Some of the sectors prominent in the state are engineering, chemicals, petrochemicals, drugs, pharmaceuticals, dairy, natural resources, cement and ceramics, and gems and jewelery.
On the deals map, the state has witnessed 75 plus private equity transactions valued at more than $650m and has seen more than 60 M&A deals at $3b, across sectors such as construction, engineering, pharmaceuticals, engineering, real estate among others.
With the increase in the number of high growth companies and quality entrepreneurs, this state now renders itself as an attractive investment destination for Private Equity investors, Venture Capitalists and dealmakers. To help funds make further inroads into these opportunities, VCCircle launches Ahmedabad Investment Forum, presented in partnership with the local Industry Associations, which will attract 200+ entrepreneurs, CEOs, private equity heads, policymakers at these states’ largest PE & M&A focused confluence.
