Brief about company, offerings and foundation of the company
eMorphis Technologies is an outsourced Software Services provider company with Enterprise Mobility as a special focus area. We intend to work with our clients as extension of their R&D teams for development of software technology platforms and products. The company is backed by seasoned professionals with over 15 years of industry experience. We specialize in working with distributed team, onshore/offshore, and agile working models.We have experience & expertise on various Technologies like .Net, J2EE, PHP, iOS, Android etc and Cloud Computing like Amazon Web services (AWS), Software QA & testing (Manual & Automation). We design Products which are cloud ready and can be deployed on AWS/Azure like cloud infrastructure.We are helping our clients in Software development, Product/Project Management, Financial Data Processing, Knowledge Process Outsourcing. We have a US entity, eMorphis Technologies LLC and we have centers in Mumbai and Indore, India. We are not mere an outsourcing services provider, but we work as extension of your R&D teams.

Some of the difficulties faced while building product/ solution
As it goes with every startup, there are lot of teething troubles like investments, resources (manpower), operations cost, selling of services, customer reach out, new customer acquisition etc. But slowly and gradually we could sail through all these issues and now in a very stable state.

I will make new mistakes and do not repeat the same old ones.

The challenges and lessons learnt to get first customer
First customer was thru a friend from US and we signed up for a project with US client. That time we were only 2 people company but we managed to deliver the project with very good quality. This customer is now a very good reference for us.
Experience of reaching out to potential investors
Actually we never had any requirement for investment in our company. It is a self grown and profitable company from the day it has started. But I receive offers for investment and joint venture with lot of people from US and UK but till now we do not see a need.
As a leader how I make sure that I am connecting the right dots
As a leader, we need to keep an eye on the speed at which we are growing. We should not be growing too fast or too slow. Self assessment and time check is required after every short period of time. This helps us to evaluate our progress and assess our mistakes earlier than later.
Risks involved in business and way of addressing
eMorphis is outsourced software development company. Therefore our business is dependent on world’s economy and outsourcing sentiments. This poses risk on our business. Therefore we have spread our client base to various geographies and different verticals. This helps us in mitigating risks with fluctuating economic conditions in one geo. Also we are R&D oriented company therefore our teams are constantly learning new technologies and innovating new frameworks which help us in winning new customers on regular basis. And our clients are quite loyal to us.
Most critical decision
First critical decision for anyone who has been into service for 15+ years was to leave the well settled job. But for me that came very easily. One day when I decided to explore some new dimensions, I communicated to my employer that I want to leave. Being at a senior position, I served around 6 months of notice period and during this period I kept on thinking what I want to do. I kept on neutralizing my mind from any high’s or low’s during this process. But when I was out from my job, I was again a clean slate where I could write anything. So now creation process started and within 2 months, I formed eMorphis Technologies Pvt Ltd. Set up an office, then people kept on joining and we got new clients. Everything went as per the plan.
Advice for fellow entrepreneurs
Just do it!!! There is no right or wrong, keep your passion alive and live up your dreams, rest will follow automatically.

My role at different dimensions as the company evolved
From a pure technologies, I have now turned to a CEO. Now I have to wear multiple hats like technologist, Biz dev, Sales, Financial officer, Chief Executive and Business Owner.
