Bangalore: I want to start a new enterprise. But, will I be able to do that? Do I need to sacrifice any of my luxury? If yes, then what? These are few of the common questions asked by a potential startup entrepreneur. Starting a new enterprise is like grooming a child for whom you need to do a lot of hard work and compromise on many matters. This will provide you a long-term benefit in terms of recognition and wealth. But, are you really ready to sacrifice the following?

Ego

When it comes to be a startup entrepreneur, you must shed off your ego before stepping into this role. You must be ready to play the role of a peon, clerk, owner, leader, manager, salesman and more, as and when required. Your ego is your worst enemy, learn to share work with your employees and see what difference you can bring to your business.

Family Tours

Is family outing a part of your yearly plan? You spend thousands of bucks and number of days in the tour. As a startup, your business needs more of your time and energy. Even a short break may affect the efficiency of your startup. During the initial phase of starting a business, one needs to cut off various expenses to increase capital input. This will help you to better bootstrap your business and you do not need to share your equity with others.

Luxury

Why use private car for transportation if you can manage easily with public transport like buses and rickshaws? Drawings from your business capital in the initial stage may affect its smoothness. You can think of buying a car in installments, but what about the running and maintenance cost. Are you financially strong enough to handle this? As a startup, most of your time is spend meeting people, travelling from one place to another, then why build an A/C chamber for yourself if you are not present there to enjoy the luxury. Rather invest the money in growing your business. As a startup, you need to first establish yourself and your business in the market and then go on for purchasing these luxuries. It may be that you can afford to buy one, but why spend that extra penny for luxury at the time when your business requires it more? Save it for further expansion of your business.

Sleep

Are you in a thought that seven hours of daily sleep is a must for you? If you glance at the life of successful entrepreneurs, they sacrificed their sleep to devote more time to their
