MK Technologies

Company Profile
I have started MK Technologies in 2006 having a vision to provide end to end software and communication solutions to enterprise customers. Later in 2011 I have founded another company named MKT Softwares to provide enterprise software solutions, mobile and cloud computing solutions. Today MK Technologies serves clients by providing Infrastructure Management Solutions which  includes, managed services, Enterprise Communication, Data center solutions, VPN, Internet Bandwidth etc. the services provided by MKT Softwares Include SAP and Microsoft Ax implementation and Support, Business Process Reengineering, Application Development & data Migration, CRM, SCM, Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing, E-Commerce. Pleased to share that MKT Softwares has introduced its two Proprietary product called ESIM Campus Solutions for Higher Education and Universities. ESIM Campus Solution Covers ERP, CRM, Virtual Learning, HRMS, Logistics and end to end solutions which automates and streamline entire working. The another product is called E-Tex which is a ERP Solution for Textile Industry.
My Role
During my initial period I have worked in all the departments of my company, I was a sales person, delivery person and project manager also. As time passes and my team increases, I started focusing on coordination between team members and achieving targets. We have created system in such a way so that every person should understand and have a knowledge of their responsibilities and targets. I have tried to eliminate any man driven processes and today almost 98% processes are on system rather than manual.
Relationship with potential investors
We got first investment from a nationalized bank which  was actually not an investment but a Term loan which helped me to grow in initial period. Now since we have launched two new product in market we are targeting potential VCs to invest in company though we are at final stage of discussions with some VCs, however I have learned a lot about the mindset of the VCs, what exactly they think, what preparation should an entrepreneur does before reaching to any investor, what contents should be there in Business plan, how the financials should be made etc.
Companys culture
Being an startup company my first challenge was to retain good team members so that delivery to the clients could not get effected. I have tried to make such a culture where every peer should feel their importance, even if he is a office boy, a junior software engineer, a delivery head or any one. I have already given credit and appreciate the individual even in small achievement. Besides every person of MKT feels a type of ownership in company which helps us in taking right decision at right time. today every team member knows the vision of the company and continuously working hard to achieve the vision.
Difficulties faced
The biggest challenge we faced after the launching of our products is to create credibility and a confidence in customers mind. Earlier we were implementing SAP and Microsoft like products, these companies need no introduction and thus customer/potentials have a confidence on the services provided by these companies, in case of MKT we have to convince the customers that they will get same type of business practices and values in MKTs products also. We have achieved customers confidence by first identify their pain areas and then reduced their problems by our solutions/products.
Advice to young entrepreneurs
My advice to fellow entrepreneurs is to have a faith in themselves. No matter whether you are providing what solutions, but to keep in mind that your solutions/services/products should try to identify and then resolve the pain area of the customer. The solutions should have the contribution in the growth of the customer.
Key thoughts about Entrepreneurship
To Entrepreneurs, I would like to say that whether their solutions are innovative or not but the way of delivering the services  should be unique. One should have a strong will power and faith in his idea. To VCs I would like to request that they should share the feedback with the entrepreneurs about what they feel and seen in their business plan and what’s the point an entrepreneur should keep in mind while creating their business model. It will help entrepreneur to upgrade their model as most of the entrepreneurs have good model but because of lack of knowledge about the financials model, they generally not been able to kick off their project.
