YouTube to offer full length movies for rent

New York: YouTube, the most popular video website, has started full length movies for rent. They are adding more than 3000 movies for rent. The new service is only available at U.S. The movies include "Caddyshack," "Goodfellas," "Scarface," "Taxi Driver," "Inception," "The King's Speech," "Little Fockers," "The Green Hornet" and "Despicable Me." Google, who owned the website, is offering the movies for 99 cents to $3.99 each. But most of the movies are priced at $2.99. YouTube has also signed deals with studios like Time Warner's Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, Comcast Corp's Universal Pictures and Lions Gate Entertainment. Users can pay to watch the movies after upgraded the You Tube accounts. They will get 30 days to start watching the movies and once they start with them, they will get 24 hours of time to finish. Adding the movies into the site, Google is expecting that viewer will spend more time on the website.
