10. Lakshmi Mittal: Lakshmi Niwas Mittal is the owner, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal, which is the world’s largest steelmaking company. He is the richest man in India, Asia and the United Kingdom, and second in Europe. Presently he is the sixth richest individual in the world with a personal wealth of $19.2 billion. He is the 47^th ‘most powerful person’ among the 68 individuals named in Forbes Most Powerful People list.

He is also an independent director of Goldman Sachs and member of Board of Directors to Goldman Sachs Media/Film IP Group, member of the Directors of European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company, World Steel Association. In 2008 he received the honor for ‘Forbes Lifetime Achievement Award’ and ‘padma vibhushan’ in 2007. He also got the European Businessman of the year by Forbes in 2004.
