Why is Apple richer than the U.S. Government?
By siliconindia
Fremont: Recently, we all came to know that Apple actually has more cash that the reserve money of U.S. Government. Supposedly the world's most powerful government, the U.S. Government, has just $73.76 billion in its reserves while Apple has about $75.87 billion. Why is this so? There has to be a very strong reason for this plight of the most powerful country. It is not fair or easy to compare a country to a company, but everyone is already doing it and so, it is only just from our part to go through some of the reasons.
Selling and not shelling
Selling products to foreign countries is more financially viable than blowing them up. Apple learned this way back, in fact it never tried to blow anyone up. It made greats products, which only explode in the market creating new trends while never harming anyone, and sold them to people in their country and around the world. People were happy with their products and kept on buying them and this reflects in the $75.87 billion. On the other hand, the U.S. government was much more focused on building bombs, fighter planes and sending troops to countries 10,000 plus kilometers away. In case you have not noticed yet, there is not much money in blowing anyone or any country up.
