Bangalore: Marin Software, a provider of the enterprise-class paid search management application, has raised an additional $11.2 million in Series D financing. This funding round is led by Triangle Peak Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Amicus Capital, Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures and Focus Ventures. The company previously raised around $25 million.
Founded in 2006, Marin Software's flagship product, Marin Search Marketer(R) is designed to addresses the workflow, analysis, and optimization needs of large scale advertisers and agencies, saving time and improving financial performance. Marin Software has over 180 customers and its technology is used globally to manage more than $1 billion of annual search spend. As claimed by the company, currently Marin Search Marketer automatically bids more than 350 million keywords each night, automatically generates more than 300,000 client reports each week, and has an application uptime of 99.9 percent. In the past year, the company has expanded overseas, launched support for Facebook Ads, and delivered new, innovative products designed to meet the needs of the world's most sophisticated search marketers.
