LiveIntent, the app which helps the users to buy and sell email ad inventory, raised $8 million in its series B round of funding led by Shasta Ventures. The funding also saw the participation of existing investors First Round Capital, Battery Ventures, Grape Arbor VC, and Lerer Ventures. LiveIntent was founded by Matthew Keiser and offers advertisers and publishers a way to tailor banner ads in e-mails for the recipients. The company has raised a total of $13 million from its venture capitalists.
