Facebook to generate MBA graduates

Bangalore: The London School of Business and Finance is making available an MBA degree via Facebook that has resulted in Facebook not just being a platform for social networking. An era is to come very soon where students would log onto Facebook to become MBA graduates instead of just updating status messages, uploading pictures and being in touch with friends, reports Team Diva.
The London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) would follow a procedure where the MBA degree would be delivered through a Facebook application for the Global MBA, which is certified by the University of Wales.
In order to avail the facility of taking an exam for credit, the students would require making a fee payment although they can access video lectures and participate in online study sessions for free. Courses like Accounting, Corporate Finance, Ethics, Marketing and Strategic Planning are also made available to the students.
A surprising figure of 30,000 has already been reached to get enrolled for the degree but the School expects the figure to reach 5, 00,000 within a year. The programme amounts to $23,000 approximately wherein the amount remains the same for the school's distance-learning as well as campus students.
