BenQ has announced the launch of its environment friendly high-definition LCD monitors – BenQ E900HD and BenQ G900HD. Making use of BenQ's 'Hybrid Power Management Technology', the new LCD monitors consume up to 25 percent less energy, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions produced by electricity generation by a corresponding amount.
In addition to lowering the harmful carbon dioxide and mercury emissions, BenQ E900HD and BenQ G900HD LCD monitors will also enable lower energy consumption thereby reducing electricity bills.
The monitors use a unique two-lamp design which enables them to deliver brightness equivalent to 300 units produced by four-lamp models. The monitors also use just 30W of power as compared to 40W consumed by conventional models. With a screen size of 18.5 inches, E900HD and G900HD LCD monitors display High-Definition content with a quick response time. The Senseye+photo - an exclusive digital image enhancement engine - fine-tunes picture quality through five preset application modes. In addition, the new LCD monitors feature the popular 16:9 aspect ratio for superior display of High-Definition content.
