5. Over Confident CEO without Industry experience
The Carol Bartz era has come to an abrupt end at Yahoo, and yet the embattled Internet pioneer?s identity crisis continues unabated.
After two and a half years in the chief executive role at Yahoo, sometimes foul mouthed Ms. Bartz was unable to articulate a coherent long term strategy for the Silicon Valley trailblazer.
A company that was at one time the darling of the dot com world, but that is now a shadow of its former self is thriving hard to succeed in the long run to maintain its position that has been dropped down by Carol Bartz who doesn?t have far sight in reaching high goals.
