Wind River to take part at Freescale Technology Forum

Bangalore: Wind River, a subsidiary of Intel Corporation, has announced its participation as Global Diamond Sponsor of Freescale Technology Forum India. Apart from sponsoring the event, Wind River executives will be leading a number of technical sessions, and the company will showcase a number of technology innovations. Freescale Technology Forum will be held at the Leela Palace, Bangalore, on 18th and 19th August 2010. According to Venkatesh Kumaran, Country Manager - India, Wind River Systems, Freescale Technology Forum is a platform to interact with the industry. The company seizes this opportunity to update its fellow-tech-enthusiasts on the embedded innovations from Wind River. The executives from Wind River will be leading two technical sessions at the event - 'Debugging Multicore Using a Virtual Platform' and 'The Next Generation Carrier-Grade Platform'. While the first session will be dealing with how to use virtual platforms when debugging multi-core software, the second session will cover experiences, challenges, and requirements to successfully optimize, integrate, and test a complete stack, including hardware, virtualization, operating systems, and middleware. Apart from this, Wind River will also showcase 'System Simulation with Wind River Simics', 'On-chip debugging JTAG solution for P4080' and 'VPX backplane for A&D rapid prototyping using LiveUSB'.
