However if you go to Socl.com now, you will witness a whole contradictory affair. It will flash a message saying: "Thanks for stopping by. Socl.com is an internal design project from a team in Microsoft Research which was mistakenly published to the web. We didn't mean to, honest." Hence, for now Tulalip and Socl.com will remain unsolved mysteries only. However this leaves room for many unanswered questions like, what made Microsoft remove the splash and replace it with a briefing message? Are they really going to join the league of social networking sites?
