Above all these, just about 50 to 60 percent approximately, people used these social networks for the purpose of finding jobs and business purposes. The reason for this may be that people don't know from where to start their job search as well as they don't like to spend much of their time in front of computers. But these sites help the people to be a part of a worldwide community, where many people come to explore technology for their personal or business purposes.
In that study they also found the difference in the social media habits between parents and non-parents. From that finding they came to know that, parents used the social media more than non-parents because these parents used social media to play games, for entertainment, creative pursuits etc. And the only place where these non-parents used the social media more than parents was when it came to dating, but the difference was very minimal.
So like this there are many other reasons for people using these sites regularly. These sites help in sharing photos, posting comments etc. These sites help the people to build their networks vastly and get connected with as many people every time they want.
