St. Stephen’s College

St Stephen’s College is part of the University of Delhi, and was founded in 1881 by the Cambridge Brotherhood. It was initially affiliated to the University of Calcutta, then in 1882 it was affiliated to the University of Punjab; and it became one of the three constituent colleges of the University of Delhi when it was established in 1992. Apart from academics, each subject has a society which sponsors lectures and discussions. The college has six residence blocks named after its former principals.

Its famous alumni include Sanjiv Bikchandani, Co-Founder & CEO, Naukri.com; Vinayak Chatterjee, Founder, Feedback Ventures; Deep Kalra, Founder, MakeMyTrip; Vikram Talwar, Founder & CEO, EXL Service; Bharat Ram, Chairperson Emeritus, DCM; and many others.
