What should You Consider While Naming Your Startup?
People do not like to sound stupid. Therefore, if your startup name is difficult to pronounce or have a strong negative association, people would rather prefer to by-pass your name and move forward. They will never mention it to others as reference. It should also be taken into consideration that the name is not easily mistaken for something different. Cadio that helps retailers, restaurants, advertisers and other businesses understand their consumers better using location data changed its name after they found that it was not working for them as people were not able to remember it. They realized that Google searches for "Cadio" were met with "Did you mean cardio?"
