Full FDI in Retail Sector

Rohit Sharma, Co-Founder, Wopshop says, “The government should allow full FDI in the retail sector. It should also spend more money in developing a broadband infrastructure. This would help in establishing the ecommerce companies and help them do better.” The FDI in the retail sector would also help increase the employment opportunities in various connected sectors.

Rohit Sharma is the Co-Founder of Wopshop.com, an online kids toystore, along with Vaibhav Odhekar (former Vice President, Zapak Digital Entertainment) and Sanjeev Singhal (former CTO, Reliance Entertainment, BigFlicks). Prior to founding Wopshop, Sharma was the CEO at Reliance Entertainment-Digital Business.
