4. A Vindication of the Rights of Woman:
This book was written in the year 1792 by the 18th century British feminist writer Mary Wollstonecraft. The book is considered as one of the earliest works of feminist philosophy and the author through this book, responds to those educational and political theorists of the 18th century who believed that education was not necessary for women. The writer was prompted to write this book after reading the 1791 report of “Charles Maurice de Talleyrand-Perigord” to the French National Assembly, which stated that women must only receive a domestic education.
