7) Labrador –

Labradors are like the separated siblings of Retrievers. They are very much like Retrievers in many aspects. They are faithful, caring, loving and very patient. They make ideal pets because all family members enjoy their company, including little ones. They are intelligent, good-natured and agreeable. Labs, as they are usually called, are also among favourite dogs, when providing assistance to handicapped people. They are also super-swimmers and love splashing about in the pool. These mellow-mannered and responsible canines make them great with kids. They have the right amount of energy to keep kids busy but are mild-natured enough to assist the physically challenged. They can also be easily trained and are amiable with other dogs.

8) Old English Sheepdog -

Old English Sheepdogs are too cute with their stylishly cut mane hanging before their eyes. Looks apart, these canines are more than just pretty faces. These sturdy darlings are lighthearted and carefree. This, though, does not imply that they are irresponsible. Sheepdogs are very caring, affectionate, faithful, friendly and well-natured dogs. They are also very intelligent and protective of their human companions. So, they are very good with children and are gentle and loving with them. Though they tend to be a bit inflexible, they blossom with proper training. They follow instructions well and so training them is a breeze. No wonder, Dulux picked Sheepdogs for appearing in their TV ad a very long time ago.
