Great Danes might not look like they are appropriate for little ones but in reality, they truly are. They are also known as “Gentle Giants,” which once again proves that looks can be deceiving. Though quite mellow, they are very playful by nature. Danes are good-natured, of a mild disposition and extremely patient. These qualities make Danes very suitable pets for young kids. They adore the company of people and are a delight to be around. As their apt title suggests, they are dependable, reliable and trustworthy. They are also brave and faithful. Since, they might get off-track without proper training; Danes should be trained from a young age. Looks like Scooby got the right kind of training.
