Esha proudly shows off her Om and Gayatri mantra that she has on her back. Both the tattoos were done by Ronni Froberg at Funky Monkey. "I designed the Om, which is shaded blue and we downloaded the Gayatri mantra from the net to get the spelling and font right," recalls Froberg. The actress got the Gayatri mantra tattooed on her right shoulder and a shaded Om on the left. "It wasn't planned at all. But I've always been very spiritual and I've been chanting the Gayatri mantra since I was a child. I'd been thinking of getting a tattoo for a long time but it just never happened till now," says Esha. Turning back a few pages from her life Esha told CS, "When I got my first tattoo, I just didn't have the courage to tell mom (Hema Malini) about it.
So I told her that it was a temporary one that would disappear in a month's time. Mom being mom, kept asking me every month when it would go and I would pretend to look all shocked about the fact that it was still there.
