Liquor baron and Kingfisher Airlines chairman Vijay Mallya owns the high-end A319-13-ACJ worth 225 crore. He spent another 160 core on retro-fitting and fireproof upholstery. The A319 is one of the smaller members of Airbus' highly successful single-aisle airliner family and can fly to London or the United States with a single refueling halt. Boasting of plush interiors, it has the capacity to seat 24 people and has 6,000 cubic foot of living space. Apart from the A319, he also owns a Gulfstream, a Hawker and a Boeing 727. The French and Brazilian heads of state also use this model.
