It was the first bike to be in the entry level superbike category, first Indian bike to get a liquid cooled engine, 4 valve and Delta box a frame technology that comes straight from the Yamaha R1. Yamaha gave too many things to a 149.8cc engine. After installing performance part all-round the engine the Yamaha YZF R15 throws out 17bhp and a max torque of 15nm at 7500rpm. The engine gets its power to rear wheel through 6 speed race optimized gear box. R15 is the most powerful sportbike available in the 150cc category and is also the most priced. 1,20,000 on road. The most important style component on a bike is its face appearance. The front face of the Yamaha YZF R15 has head lamps which look like eyes of an angry eagle.
