4. Mount Vesuvius:
Italy is the home of this composite volcano. In the European mainland, Mount Vesuvius is the only one volcano which had busted out within past hundred years. AD 79 witnessed the most destructive eruption of Mount Vesuvius, though it had erupted 30 times in the last 2000 years. The old Roman cities named Pompeii and Herculaneum were demolished by this volcano eruption. The cities were disregarded till its rediscovery happened in the year 1794, even though it has historical and literary traditions to be told. The volcano is undergone various changes and today, it is not an eruptive volcano and moreover, it is one of the favourite tourist destinations in Italy. But, even today it is known as the most dangerous volcanoes in the world as almost 3,000,000 people residing nearby.
5. Sundarbans:
Situated in the delta of Bay of Bengal, most of this forest area is the part of Bangladesh and a small part lies in India. Featuring two eco-regions, "Sundarbans freshwater swamp forests" and "Sundarbans mangrove”, Sundarbans provides a unique ecosystem. Sundarbans mangrove is the largest saline mangroves in the world. Connected by a number of waterways, Sundarbans most of the places are accessible by boat. Being home to a large variety of species, it hosts many endangered species like Javan rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, Ganges river dolphins, olive ridley turtles, and hawksbill sea turtle.
