2. Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by Doris Kearns Goodwin (2005)
In an interview in 2008, Barrack Obama was asked which book he would choose and take with him to White House apart from the Bible. The President proudly chose this book. The book explains the task and the managing capacity of Lincoln to create unity among the people, and how his ideologies and divergent personality made him a successful leader. His leadership traits were amazing and highly admirable. The author Doris Kearns Goodwin was honored with Pulitzer Prize for this book.
