MS Freedom of the Sea is the other cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean. It was built at the Aker Yards drydock in Turku, Finland. Its 1,111 feet long and has maximum capacity 4600 people including crew members. Royal Caribbean spent $800,000,000 to build the cruise line and since May 12, 2006. It also features some cool facilities, such as a water park, Wi-Fi capabilities throughout the ship and cell phone coverage, as well as a 3D cinema. The ship has three swimming areas: an interactive water park, a dedicated adult pool and the main pool. The Royal Promenade sports, and shop on either sides. The 13th deck has a sports area with a rock climbing wall, the FlowRider an onboard wave generator for surfing, a miniature golf course and a full size basketball court.
