London: Computer wizards from London have created a website which acts as an answer engine. The website provides answers to the questions asked.
The website, trueknowledge.com, provides answers to questions and acts like 'phone-a friend'. Unlike other search engines, it provides a direct answer rather than a providing links to various articles. For instance, if a user asks birth date of a celebrity, it promptly gives you the date for the same.
And if in case, the website doesn't have the answer to the question asked, it clearly informs the user about it.
However, more and more information are being fed to the website, according to William Tunstall-Pedoe, Co-founder of the website. This will increase the existing knowledge, providing more answers.
The answer engine uses semantic technology and a consolidated database of facts, lexical knowledge and common sense.
