Wavecom appoints ConnectM its CoE in India

Bangalore: Wavecom S.A., a French embedded industrial wireless communication solutions provider, has appointed ConnectM as a "Center of Excellence" (CoE) in India. This program aims at building a worldwide network of design partners to facilitate adoption of wireless machine-to-machine technologies. Founded in June 2007, ConnectM is a joint venture of Sasken and IDG Ventures with an investment of $6 million. It provides end-to-end solutions, consulting, application development and business intelligence to the transportation, industrial, utilities and enterprise verticals. ConnectM has proven knowledge in Wavecom technology and wireless connectivity with recognized expertise in hardware design, software and Open AT embedded application development, system integration, testing, prototyping, certification and manufacturing, which can assist Wavecom customers in achieving its specific requirements for optimized, cost competitive systems rapidly. Wavecom certifies all Centers of Excellence based on a thorough evaluation of their technical expertise, business focus, financial stability and quality standards. These CoEs are regularly trained on Wavecom's latest technology. As a Wavecom certified CoE, ConnectM will act as trusted advisor and implementor of Wavecom solutions, partnering in design challenges and opportunities. This program gives ConnectM access to all new Wavecom solutions and latest innovations. "The CoE program allows us to leverage our design capabilities using Wavecom wireless technology for machine-to-machine solutions. As a CoE for Wavecom, we get an edge in end-to-end solution building capability," said Rajeev Sharma, Head – Sales and Operations, ConnectM.
