Vivek Mansingh steps down from Dell
Bangalore: After a five year stint with Dell, Vivek Mansingh, who was the Country Head for Research & Development has made an exit to pursue a different career path. He was instrumental in scaling up Dell's R&D presence in the country which contributed a lot for the global projects. He plans to pursue his career either in software or in the private equity venture capital space. "Vivek Mansingh plans to pursue opportunities outside of Dell after five years with the company. We appreciate the contributions he made to the company and wish him the best in his future endeavors," says Minari Shah, Dell's spokesperson. Dell expect to find a replacement soon. There is a strong internal leadership, indicating that the replacement will be from within the company. The 20,00,000 sq ft R&D facility was set up in Bangalore and his contribution to the India hub is remarkable. The center in Bangalore is responsible for complete design and validation and testing for its enterprise product.
