New Delhi: Though the physical test drive option for the world's cheapest car Tata Nano is not available, its online alternative attracted over 1.2 million users in the last one month.
Tata Motors, in association with Reliance-Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG)-owned Zapak.com, launched the online game based on the Nano March 23 which would enable the user to drive around the virtual small car on his desktop.
"The Tata Nano is a dream come true for India. Everyone wants to own the Nano and experience it in every way possible. The game is a hit among our users and we are thrilled with the response," Arun Mehra, chief marketing officer of Zapak Digital Entertainment, said Tuesday.
The Nano website has received 25 million hits since the launch of the
100,000 car March 23.
The first phase of bookings for the car, billed as the world's cheapest, began April 9 and will end Friday.
The company is expected to start delivery of the car in July.
