Sayoni Saha
Sayoni Saha is from Gretchen Whitney High School in Cerritos. She did a project on the topic, “A Doll That Looks Likes Me: A Study of Self-Concept in Children with Down syndrome.” In her study, she studies the self image of children who have Down’s syndrome with the help of dolls. Her creative work focuses on one of the major challenges faced by children. She is one of the finalists from California. ‘’Such creativity gives me hope for our next generation of scientists’’, said Jeffrey H. Toney, an educator and a scientist.
