#3 Lakshmi Mittal
Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, another Indian among the list of top 5 billionaires with highest personal wealth per day, is the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steelmaking company.
According to the Forbes Magazine he earns $140.25 million every day and the net turnover of the company is $15.9 billion.
Lakshmi Mittal, the Indian steel magnate, owns 41 percent of ArcelorMittal and holds a 34 percent stake in the Queens Park Rangers F.C. football team. He is one of the richest men in Asia, United Kingdom and the entire Europe.
Mittal was ranked the sixth richest person in the world in 2011 by Forbes, but was pushed back to 21st place in 2012. He could also make the 47th position among the 70 individuals named in Forbes’ "Most Powerful People" list for 2012.
Mittal has been a member of the board of directors of Goldman Sachs since 2008 and the member of the board of directors of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company as well. He is also a member of the World Steel Association’s executive committee and of the Indian Prime Minister’s Global Advisory Council.
