Ro Khanna

Khanna previously worked for the US and foreign commercial service as the Deputy assistant secretary, a chief position in the Obama administration, for two years. At present, Khanna is the ‘Of Counsel’ at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a law firm where he specializes in intellectual property and clean technology law.

"It was the best job I've had in my life and an absolute honour to serve the President and (Commerce) Secretary (Gary) Locke," Khanna said while quitting the job, reports Rediff.

Khanna was in the news recently for raising a record amount of $1.2 million in a single quarter for a congressional seat in 2014. According to sources, he will contest from District 15 of California, a newly redistricted congressional district.
