Neal Katyal
Neal Kumar Katyal, who was appointed as the Principal Deputy Solicitor General in the year 2009, left the post recently. Prior to his appointment as one of the highest ranking Indian American in the US department of justice, Katyal served as a professor of law at the Georgetown University Law School in Washington, DC.
Katyal frequently makes it to the list of top legal minds in the U.S. and he is quite famous for successfully defending Osama bin Laden's chauffeur, Salim Hamdan before the U.S. Supreme Court in the year 2006.
