Rakesh Sachdev

Rakesh Sachdev is the president and CEO of Sigma-Aldrich Corp, a life science and high technology company with its headquarters in Missouri.

Sachdev who joined Sigma-Aldrich as the Chief Financial officer has more than 25 years of experience in the corporate world. He took charge as the CEO of the company two years before in the year 2010, after the sudden death of Jai Nagarkatti, the then CEO of the company.

Sachdev took the company forward by getting his employees focused on providing assistance and better services to its employees.

Sachdev holds masters in Business administration from the University of Indiana and he has also completed mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
