13. Dan Rose, VP of Business Development

As head of global business development, Rose is responsible for Facebook’s worldwide strategic partnerships and M&A. Dan joined Facebook in 2006 after seven years at Amazon.com. He recently completed six years with the company being one of the longest-tenured employees in Facebook. He has earned a bachelor’s degree at Harvard University and attended the University of Michigan Business School.

14. Sam Lessin, Product Manager

Lessin joined last October when Facebook nominally acquired his start-up Drop.io. He was the major driver of Facebook’s Timeline redesign. He had started a project called letter.ly for paid personal email newsletters when he was in Drop.io. Before that, he worked at Bain & Company. Lessin went to Harvard at the same time as Zuckerberg and thus is tightly integrated into the inner Facebook social circle.

15. Mike Fox, Director of Global Vertical Marketing

Fox, a former Time Warner marketing executive, joined Facebook in 2009 to help big brands in specific industries figure out how best to use the social network to promote their wares.
